Anthony gave a presentation at the Arts Marketing Association Annual Conference in Sheffield today which you can see below. Following on from our work on “Counting What Counts”, he set out some thoughts on how cultural organisations can be ready the take advantage of BIg Data (and bigger data of their own). He also mentioned that we’d be launching a new “Cultural Data Project” later this summer in conjunction with our friends at the University of Ulster to explore how Big Data can really impact the arts and cultural sector both in new ways and in turbo-charging the use of current data in better ways. If you’d like to be kept involved or are interested in joining our consortium, follow @Anthony.Lilley for more details.
