Matt Atwood

Matt Atwood is the Director of Operations at Magic Lantern.

He trained as an engineer at Cambridge University, where he completed both an M.A. and a Ph.D. During his time at Cambridge he pursued an active interest in theatre, designing and production managing a many shows.

He has spent the majority of his working life in production management of theatre, opera and dance, spending time with companies such as English National Opera and the Barbican Theatre. Keen to explore the crossover between performance and technology, he joined Magic Lantern early in 2007 and has since been involved with production on all levels.
