Neil Sutherland

Neil Sutherland is the Head of Design for Magic Lantern. Originally trained as a fine artist, Neil moved full-time into digital design in the mid 1990's.

Neil has worked for various agencies and film production houses since as lead designer, working with clients such as Motorola, BMW and Oakley, until joining Magic Lantern in 2002.

He has enjoyed working on Magic Lantern's variety of award-winning projects, including work for the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Nigella Lawson, Linda Barker, as well as various government departments and charities.

Neil is just as comfortable providing high-end designs in Photoshop and Illustrator as he is art directing. He also enjoys leading and mentoring teams of designers.
