Only a week after the Revolution awards Magic Lantern were back at the Grosvenor House Hotel to collect more awards for FourDocs. This time it was at the IVCA awards. The FourDocs team were just leaving the stage having picked up a gold award in the best 'Websites' category, when they were asked to return to the stage to receive a silver award in the 'Web TV' category. And after all the celebrations that ensued we even made it back to the office on Monday morning with both awards.
As 'FourDocs' had been short-listed in the 'Best online property from a media owner' category for this years Revolution awards, both Magic Lantern and Channel 4 were in attendance at this years awards ceremony, which was held at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London. The category had one of the largest short-listing at the awards, with 7 listings. It was however FourDoc's that prevailed on the night; an award that the FourDocs team were delighted to collect along with Channel 4.
As the Magic Lantern team continues to grow it was only a matter of time before we ran out of physical space at our Clapham offices. So early in the New Year we took over both floors of the building. We have just completed a comprehensive redesign of the ground floor, which now houses 2 new video editing suites, an ongoing project department, open plan production hub, new reception area and courtyard. We hope to be fully settled in by early April.
As the technology slightly failed us at the RSA last week and a number of people asked to see our Christmas message video and a copy of the presentation, I thought we'd put them up on the web here. Hope you find them fun and/or useful.
Thanks, Anthony
